The preloved student marketplace Hazaar has an exciting opportunity for university students. We are looking for students who have an eye for marketing, business and sustainability to join the team and lead on driving brand awareness and engagement.
About the role
Your role will focus on increasing our awareness and active users on your campus. To do this, you will be well connected within the university, responsible for organising activation events and seeking collaborations with the likes of societies, sports teams and small businesses. This will provide you with invaluable experience in partnership marketing, event organising and leadership. You’ll have a team of Ambassadors on this mission with you. As part of your position you will both recruit and lead your team of Ambassadors with the creative freedom to develop monthly strategies for the team to support you in hitting your targets.
Role expectations
⏰ Hours - 4 - 8 a week.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Driving new users & listings to our app - by receiving targets and staying up to date with KPI’s to inform your marketing strategy
- Ambassadors - recruiting and leading them, creating a great team spirit
- Partnerships - proactively looking for ways we can collaborate with organisations and societies on or around campus to hit KPI’s
- Events - attracting sellers and driving footfall to our pop up markets and organising monthly activations on campus
How we will support you
You will work closely with Hazaar’s marketing team who will be on hand to offer you support throughout your role – you will be invited to weekly calls with our community lead and be able to reach out to them at any point during the working day. You will attend monthly 1-2-1’s where we will reflect on monthly goals and your progress.
