How do I sign up?
First, check to see if Hazaar is live at your university here.
If we are up and running at your university, simply download the Hazaar app on the App Store or Google Play. You must use your university email to sign up. This is to verify your student status and make sure you’re only buying from and selling to people nearby.
If your university isn’t on this list, you won’t be able to make an account with us yet… but don’t worry! We’re working incredibly hard in the background to make Hazaar available nationwide, so keep your eyes peeled. You can send us a request to bring Hazaar to your university via this form.
Can anyone sign up for Hazaar?
No. You must have a university email address ending in .ac.uk (available to students and staff).
What if I'm not a student and I want to use Hazaar?
Unfortunately, if you don't have an email address ending in .ac.uk, you cannot use Hazaar.
Can I sell to students even if I'm not a student myself?
We are allowing a select number of businesses to sell through our app, so if you have a small business or vintage shop in close proximity to a university, you might be able to sell.
Do I have to pay for Hazaar?
No, the app is free to use. However, we do take 10% commission from sales, and our payment provider (Stripe) charges 1.5% + 20p per sale, so if you are selling please keep this in mind.
